JointPrep provides general education about preparing for and recovering from knee or hip replacement surgery. It is built from published clinical guidance, but it is not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and using it does not create a doctor–patient relationship of any kind. JointPrep was built by a final-year medical student and certified personal trainer — not a licensed physician — and nothing in the app or on this site should be read as coming from a doctor.
Always talk to your own surgeon, physical therapist, or other qualified healthcare provider about your specific situation. Your surgical team’s instructions always override anything in JointPrep. If content here ever conflicts with what your care team tells you, follow your care team.
2. Assumption of risk
JointPrep includes exercise suggestions and general fitness guidance. Physical activity, including the exercises described in JointPrep, carries inherent risk, especially before and after joint surgery. By using JointPrep, you voluntarily assume all risks associated with any exercise or activity you undertake based on its content, and you agree to stop and consult your healthcare provider if something feels wrong, painful, or unsafe.
3. Purchases and license
Full access to JointPrep is available for a one-time payment of $49. This is not a subscription — there is nothing to cancel. Your payment grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use JointPrep for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not resell, redistribute, or share your access with others, or use JointPrep’s content for commercial purposes.
4. Refunds
We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on the one-time $49 purchase. If you’re not satisfied for any reason, contact support@jointprep.com within 30 days of purchase for a full refund.
5. Your account and data you enter
You’re responsible for keeping any account credentials secure and for the accuracy of information you enter, such as your surgery date, joint, and check-in responses. This information is used to personalize your plan within the app, as described in our Privacy Policy.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse JointPrep, including by attempting to gain unauthorized access to our systems, reverse-engineering the app, scraping our content, or using it in any way that violates applicable law.
7. Affiliate links

8. Intellectual property
All content, design, text, graphics, and software in JointPrep are owned by Finding Well LLC or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. Your purchase gives you a license to use the content as described above — it does not transfer ownership of anything to you.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
JointPrep is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that JointPrep will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that following its content will lead to any particular recovery outcome.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Finding Well LLC and its founders, employees, and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of health, data, or profits, arising from your use of JointPrep. In no event will our total liability to you exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve months before the claim arose.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to JointPrep if you violate these Terms. You may stop using JointPrep at any time.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Alabama, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Alabama.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of JointPrep after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
